From the image of coral reefs, the beauty of insects, reptiles… all are carefully observed by the designers and artistically created a high-class, perfect jewelry set. The Beautés Du Monde collection is a testament to the diverse and wondrous beauty of nature.

The Beautés du Monde collection (roughly translated: beauty of the world) was introduced by Cartier at a solemn event in Madrid, Spain. Attending the ceremony to introduce the new high jewelry collection of the French fashion house were Black-ish actor Yara Shahidi, YouTuber Emma Chamberlain, BLACKPINK idol Jisoo Kim, and Iranian actor Golshifteh Farahani.

Everyone must be in awe of Cartier’s effort in finding gems in all colors of the rainbow representing the beauty of nature. A special feature of this collection is the application of many round beaded gemstones, not emphasizing the sparkling edges but on the contrary, honoring their colors. The colors are reminiscent of the nuances of flowers, young leaves, clouds, etc.

In the Beautés du Monde collection , Cartier also introduces a smaller capsule collection of seven rings. They represent seven legendary wonders from the horizon to the corner of the lake such as: Chimera in Homer’s epic, seashells petrified after millions of years, a crystal with a magnificent shape created by mother nature… Every color in nature has been transformed into a masterpiece of jewelry.

Let’s take a look at some particularly impressive designs from Cartier’s Beautés du Monde collection with Harper’s Bazaar

Inspired by the magical beauty of the water lily, Cartier created a wonderful sculpture. The Nouchali necklace is crafted in three dimensions, attracting the eye with a 10.61 carat rubellite in the center. Diamond petals surrounded by black onyx and thin lacquered lines add an ethereal look to the bracelet.

In particular, the petals are designed to be fragile, able to vibrate according to the smallest movements of the owner. When we look at the reverse side, we will see the reversed structure of the ring with a motif similar to a rose window in stained glass.

The Racif necklace is inspired by the marine ecosystem, celebrating the beauty of coral reefs. The bracelet as a whole evokes the contrasting beauty of emeralds and corals in the form of round beads with longitudinal veins followed by a twisting movement of the beads, allowing the sparkle of diamonds to penetrate. Each emerald and coral bead is studded with an emerald or amethyst. It is the Maison’s unmistakable style.

The Water Aspis necklace evokes the seductive, powerful beauty of snakes. The overall ring is an interweaving between reality and abstraction. Here, realism is expressed through the art of capturing the energy of snakes, using the curves and postures of curling around their prey to create the shape of a ring.

Abstract in the ability to imagine a triangular diamond pattern, with the arrangement of the lapis lazuli stones based on a continuation of geometric shapes. In addition, the gaps in the middle help to maximize the brightness of the stone.

The Apatura necklace is shaped like a colorful butterfly wing, inspired by the wonders of insects. Here, the designer uses opal with rainbow colors to convey the vivid beauty of butterflies. Three Australian opals weighing 22.08 carats, surrounded by diamond bars and blue sapphires.

The designer has cleverly combined stones with colors close to the opal flame, creating a unique beauty for the overall bracelet.

The Rituel necklace with two gentle, playful colors pink and blue has contributed to honoring the beauty of the jewelry. The delicate beauty of the bracelet is reflected in the turquoise chalcedony range, in the middle is a sparkling pink constellation and interspersed with conical diamonds.

Belonging to the Beautés Du Monde collection , Cartier’s Racif necklace is inspired by marine ecosystems, celebrating the beauty of coral reefs. Yasifan ring is made from 28.43 carat Paraiba tourmaline gem from Mozambique. The green stone shines in the center, surrounded by brilliant rubies and diamonds.

Part of the Beutés Du Monde Collection, the Viridia ring features a 1.25-carat green diamond that shines with an Asscher cut. This design enhances the brilliance of the diamond in the center. It is known that blue diamonds are extremely rare, rarer than yellow, blue, and pink diamonds. The green color of diamonds is caused by exposure to natural radiation. When processing, the worker must be meticulous and delicate to avoid changing the color of the diamond.
