Dahan Phuong Oanh wraps up the year: “adventure every corner from real life to the soul”
As an internationally recognized Gen Z model, Phuong Oanh has had a wonderful journey over the past year with new milestones. Famous for her enterprising spirit and professional working attitude, she has strode on the catwalks from Ready-to-Wear to Haute Couture and participated in campaigns of famous fashion houses. Now, Dahan Phuong Oanh is remembering her own “adventures” during a special and proud year.
What three words will summarize Dahan Phuong Oanh’s 2022?
“Serious – Open – Adventure”. This year, I stepped out of my comfort zone, opened my heart to people more, and became bolder in making decisions.
Which stage has left the most emotions for Phuong Oanh?
Peter Do Spring-Summer 2023. This show gives me a feeling of closeness, new motivation, and inspiration. I was very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work and talk with Peter.
The most memorable meeting of the year?
I cannot miss the meeting that I consider to be my fate with New York Model, my agency in NYC. This is a big milestone in my career and gives me a lot of energy and emotions that force me to break all limits. It sounds eloquent, but it’s true!
Favorite fashion-inspired movie?
Veruschka, poesia di una donna (1971). A moody and visual film by fashion photographer Franco Rubartelli about supermodel Veruschka.
Any changes to Dahan’s training regimen this year?
Gym and pilates are still my top choices in my daily “routine”. This is the way to keep both mind and body in the most comfortable and healthy state.
This year’s idol?
Self. Over the past year, Dahan has seen positive changes in himself and always tries to come to the most perfect version.
Does Dahan have any plans in Vietnam in 2023?
I will be in NYC for the time being and continue to work here. If there are opportunities and interesting invitations, Dahan will definitely try to capture and create his own unique adventures. Maybe we can meet in projects in Vietnam too, if anyone needs me, I will be there.
