Cashew is a Vietnamese fashion brand founded and operated by Jenny Kim. This is a brand that is familiar to many Vietnamese women, because it makes feminine office outfits at affordable prices. In the past time, to help Cashew overcome the pandemic, Jenny Kim aims to develop beyond the border of Vietnam. She did this when she opened a pop-up store in Paris and organized a presentation for her new collection.
Jenny kim brings the cashew brand to paris
Sometimes in the international fashion week schedule, you will see the word “presentation” written next to the brand name. This means that the brand decided to present the new collection through an intimate corner of the store, rather than through the catwalk.
Nowadays, more and more brands choose presentation method to launch new collections. The catwalk is always grand, but can become one-sided because of the flashy costumes. Costumes can even be overpowered by the performance environment. The presentation will allow customers, buyers and the press to touch the clothes, feel the fabric and details, and even try on the clothes, thereby honoring the designs in detail.
Last weekend, in the beautiful early spring weather of Paris, still blushing with erratic rain, sunshine and snowfall, Jenny Kim launched the Cashew brand’s mini collection in Paris.
The presentation took place in the cozy space of the art gallery of the Indochinese fine art collector, who is also the author of the book The first French photographers in Vietnam . The event was warm and fun, with the enthusiastic participation of 60 guests and beloved friends of the brand. They gathered in Paris from France and other countries in Europe.
Cashew’s mini collection launched in Paris this time uses velvet, silk, canvas and feathers as the main background. The designs exploit cheerful and upbeat colors reminiscent of spring.
