Ring is going to lose a lot of customers and sales This is not Rings fault. It’s stupid people using the same password for everything and not using two factor authentication. Assuming i’m just an old lady was your first mistake anti pollution face mask The cameras aren’t getting hacked. It’s people who the same password for everything and thier account gets hacked somewhere else and thier information put up on the net. You’re right, but you know how some people think. Just because the system is a product of Ring, they will start with the negative reviews and go out to purchase another system. Just about anything you purchase now days that’s wifi and Bluetooth ready has to be set up with a password.
I have so many different passwords and I have a notebook that I write them in. Everything has a different password, some with numbers and characters. we never said it was Ring’s fault, however that doesn’t mean that sales won’t be affected because of the whole situation so what’s the point of your post, underneath mine? And they can do more than that. Shut down your lap top and an intruder can still use your cam to see everything that you are doing. no they can’t. Stop spreading idiotic bullshit and actually educate yourself a little. Making sure you secure your accounts and your wifi and stuff like that won’t happen. I just have cameras surrounding my house and in the garage. I live in the wood not even light poles. I love it I think these are supposed to go on the front door and not your kids rooms.
