This is not funny at all Even if I thought this was a joke. It isn’t. Children need lots of sleep. Atlanta falcons team full printing face mask To deny them sleep for your own convenience is very wrong. To startle him awake like that? Aweful

Keeping a toddler awake until you get home is not going to cause any harm. Once he gets out the car he will be wide awake. FACT : car rides make them tired whether they are truly tired or not. routine is key to a healthy child. Atlanta falcons team full printing face mask Letting them sleep whenever is not healthy for them. It can throw off their eating habits and cause emotional distress. Even one random off schedule nap can have a cascading effect that can take days or weeks to correct. Obviously if a child is ill or there are other reasons needing more sleep then sure. I understand your grandma mentality. we started out talking about whether it’s ok to FORCE a baby to stay awake for the benefit of the parent. Not the benefit of a regular nap and bed time. We can all agree regular nap and bedtimes is a good thing.
I hope we can also agree not to Force a baby to stay awake of Course they need sleep! But have you heard of a schedule?? Four o’clock in the afternoon is definitely not the time for a nap. If either of my children ever nap that late there’s no way they would ever go to bed at night. For all we know this baby had a nap at noon already. Nope! My son’s naptime during the day was “me time” to just relax a bit or even get some housework done or dinner started. Maybe I would have felt differently if it was a job to get my son to sleep at night though. He’s always been a sleeper and still at 9 yrs old wants to be in bed by 7:30, he will actually get frustrated if we ask him to stay up a little longer lol. She needs to let her sleep for 10 mins.. little cat nap will help her sleep later… otherwise she will get her 2nd wind.. then over tired and really grumpy and your evening will truly be ruined…
