10k/month for two months is the same as 2k/month for 10 months I (and every single scientist, researcher etc) Baltimore ravens team full printing face mask knows that eliminating this virus via social distancing is not possible unless the virus was much much less contagious and much much more deadly.

how many people under 65 with out preexisting conditions are dieing? Please list as a percentage of such people who aren’t allowed to live their lives? no need to be a jerk, Randy. Baltimore ravens team full printing face mask The world is bad enough without that. I’m only mentioning stories I’ve heard on the news of people who are healthy nurses, doctors, marathon runners, etc losing their lives. The percentage of those 20-50 getting the virus in my area is comparable to older age groups. Do I have a plan, no. I recognize that I’m not a scientist nor do I have all the information needed to make a wise decision about ending quarantine. What I do know, however, is that returning to “normal” in the near future is only going to lessen the impact everyone has made with social distancing.
If you want a second wave of hospitalizations and another 16K people to die, then sure “reopen America” on May 1 or whatever day the president’s latest xx days to end the spread concludes. what you don’t understand is that the “flattening the curve” is ONLY to prevent excess deaths that occurred due to an over whelmed medical system that could have been avoided had they been able to receive treatment. I also mentioned stopping the spread. That lowers the death totals significantly, as we have seen with adjustments made to the projections the president and government officials have shared with the public. I’m not saying go back to completely normal but progressively open up so that hospital are always comfortably close to capacity with corona patients. Yes at the expense of the economy you can slow the spread but that doesn’t change to total death count.
