change cause some species to be endangered, and even extinct. Since human beings is not the center of the earth, we should look carefully about the climate change. It’s a difficult and complex issue, which I certainly see as perhaps being the greatest stumbling block in our attempt to stem climate change. I have difficulty trying to correlate the possible action paths with the demands of current society. It’d be incredibly hard to push forth with some of our most promising technologies without causing irreparable damage to the environment – how do we replace silicone and increase diode efficiency of solar cells without simultaneously also developing new materials ? Or more practically, how can our current energy storage capability be touted as environmentally vintage drummer nutrition facts gifts father’s day shirt friendly when the degradation of such devices results in harmful waste? I find true scientific skepticism over the extent and cause of climate change very interesting. There is no doubt that the average global temperature has been rapidly increasing over the last hundred years, so then why are there, so then why are there many who still doubt the validity of human caused climate change? I think it is simply too easy to say that scientists are paid off by large corporations, because this absolutely does not explain all skepticism. For example, the cofounder of Greenpeace Patrick Moore has argued that there is no real proof that humans have caused climate change. He points out that the last few hundred years have been relatively cool and that there is always fluctuation in the earth’s climate.
He is not an oil industry sellout , he just wants people to understand that climate science is extremely complex and dynamic. I think climate change might be the biggest issue or beast of them all. It’s invisible to the present time and creeps up slowly on us. Before we realize the severity of our actions, we already have caused too much damage. Unfortunately, climate change isn’t exactly able to be undone. However, this issue is able to be prevented from causing further damage. Over the past years, the earth’s average temperature has increased . degrees Fahrenheit due to our lack of care for this planet. If we were more conscious about what our factories emit during their production precesses, the rate at which our o-zone weakens would decrease and the therefore the rate at which our planet increases in temperature would decrease. This is important because if we do not make conscious decision early on then we will basically be screwing over everyone living on this planet not so far down the line. Due to this dilemma, it is important we make conscious decisions regarding our emissions starting as early as now. I believe climate change is in fact a real thing, though many people continue to deny it. Through research and examination into the earth’s past we can see that its climate has continuously fluctuated throughout its existence, proving that the climate does in fact change and it is totally normal. However I also do believe humans have done a great deal to cause changes to the earth’s atmosphere, altering the climate to change in a different direction or rate than it naturally would have gone. I feel that if we as humans were to all come together to become more sustainable and change how we to live in order to stop negatively affecting the climate, then it would be totally possible to prevent drastically changing the climate. However, in my opinion, I just do not think that the entire human race would ever be able to join forces and effectively work together on one goal. At the current moment, I completely buy into the idea that climate change is happening. I think it is clear that our impact on the environment over the last couple hundred years has been vastly detrimental to the health of our planet. I do believe that if we do not make huge strides to reduce the human race’s environmental impact, we will eventually completely destroy the planet. This being said, I think we are allowed to remain optimistic about the future as we still have an opportunity to avoid catastrophe. And even if we don’t avoid catastrophe, the optimist in me wants to believe that technology will have progressed far enough to offer a solution or the ability to move to another planet. Climate change is a global issue that demands cooperation on an international scale – its “solution” is multifaceted and complex, demanding not only years of scientific research, but also, more importantly, the attentiveness of global leaders to constantly evolving economic and environmental landscapes. As humanity struggles to plot a course of action
