As discussed in weekly question , humans are not the center of the planet, and our doings are causing the demise of many, many living species. Unless we act right now, we will not be able to save ourselves, let alone the planet. If humans are intrinsically selfish, perhaps the idea that our species will not be able to survive will motivate us to act. Climate change is eminent and a real thing. The science to prove it is there and the effects are starting to show. I am definitely afraid of it especially because half the world seems to deny it’s existence. I think climate change is the first thing that needs to be fixed in the world. If we do not tackle this issue, our planet will be destroyed by the end of the century. It is depressing to think this feat may be difficult as we can’t even come to a general consensus that it is real as a country. I think climate change is really important to the whole world.
