You NEED to give Propofol and Fentanyl to a patient when Intubating them and many stay on Propofol the entire time they’re on a Ventilator. I talked to my cousin, who is a Nurse in Nevada about this last night. Look at the new data coming out of Italy and new York. It appears to be some sort of interference with getting oxygen into the blood stream. Not every patient should be intubated, many just need high levels of oxygen. Or low pressure intubation rather than high. We may look back in the future and see that the treatment caused the pneumonia in the first cases in Wuhan. Or at least the infections which caused the mucous build up.
