Also, if I’m not conversing with you when I’m speaking in Spanish, I highly suggest that you mind your own damn business. someone whos not english/american to talk English in America… foolish hypocrite YOU’RE MISSING THE POINT!! Oh man. I can’t w people sometimes. tracy didnt miss the point at all. If you’re just visiting a country, it makes no sense to waste time learning the language first. But if you want to live and work there, you need to at least know the language. Not saying the person would have to speak the new language all the time, but they do at least need to know it. So its not at all hypocritical for someone visiting spain to not know spanish can’t you hear? She’s speaking English! she didn’t have to speak English to her family if she didn’t feel like it. she’s been to Spain, she never said she lived in Spain. She’s trying to say if she lives in US then she should know English
