I agree with every word you said. But unfortunately kids and especially black kids will always be picked on and judged for their dark skin. I almost started crying just in aww of my girl and knowing that I am doing things right as a mom of 3 girls 13,5, and 3!! It’s hard these days! Look what we have done to our society .Every one is going to this pressure of looking pretty . … why ? This is done by cosmetic industry.. everyone is pretty in their own way yar…. stop taking this pressure and you will shine with your internal beauty I completely disagree. I’m a hairdresser and making people feel better is what we do. Hair and makeup isn’t about being pretty to anyone else it’s about feeling pretty to yourself. I put makeup on and dye my hair because I love it not for anyone else but me. I understood her just fine. The cosmetic industry isn’t to blame entirely though. .
