He has never given me reason to doubt him. We’ve been married for 35 years this August. I never felt controlled or pressured to obey him. I was never afraid of the stigma of divorce. We made a promise to God, to ourselves, and to each other. I’m not saying things were always perfect or easy. We both had to give and grow as people. Social worker in this office we work together to figure it out poster I will say that it was worth it. The Lord has blessed us & we have seen Him manage things in life to our advantage. I truly believe He put us together
because we work so well as a team, especially when we allow Him to be in charge. Neither one of us would have stayed together if there had been abuse & we knew one another well enough to know that wouldn’t happen. I was almost 25 years old the day I got married. I had graduated college, established my career for three years, and would have been financially independent should anything bad happened. Both sets of our parents were together and loyal for their entire marriages.
