It doesn’t always mean someone is “in love” with someone, nor does it need to mean that. Yet in English, there is only one or two words for love… such as “adore” and even that word is often used sparingly. With just a couple words we have to say the multitude of meanings love has, is it really such a problem that we are saying love too much?
