Karen (Greer), her daughter, first wants everyone to stay put and be protected, including Karen’s teen daughter Allyson (Andi Matichak), but she eventually joins the fight when townspeople chase Michael back to his childhood home. Director David Gordon Green said the next chapter, “Halloween Ends,” will “take a leap in time” and catch up with the community in the present day. “Everyone has their own method, and time plays a big role in how these events are conceptualised.” “It is, by the way, mayhem with a capital M,” Curtis teases. Greer, 46, will no longer be a part of the long-running brand, but she isn’t bitter about it.
