The feminine and graceful beauty of flowers has always been a source of fashion inspiration for a long time, typically Moschino’s Spring-Summer 2018 collection, Alexander McQueen’s Spring-Summer 2007 collection, or Chanel Couture Autumn 2005 The story of flowers blooming in spring no longer brings a new feeling. Even so, the Spring-Summer 2023 runway shows a new interpretation of the theme.
Trend Garden 2023: fashion as Fresh as Flowers
Loewe mesmerizes viewers in her surreal garden in the Spring-Summer 2023 collection. Creative director Jonathan Anderson chooses the rose as the “main character” for this collection. Similar to a few previous collections, the fashion house continues to explore surreal fashion with a way of “teasing” in the design. Create a wrap-around bra and bra cup with voluptuous flowers. Anthurium flowers are sometimes bright red, sometimes white, and flexible as part of the outfit.
Not only Loewe was captivated by the beauty of flowers. Acne Studios offers see-through maxi dresses, “shielded” by a vibrant flower garden that blooms with every step. Combining maximal style with puffy sleeves, peony and pink print fabrics, and oversized 3D flowers, Carolina Herrera’s Spring-Summer 2023 collection recreates a romantic and liberal visual garden.
The designers have taken a unique approach to traditional floral prints, making them more creative and modern. The use of surreal blooms, exotic “pop” petals, and spiked roses add an edgy twist to the classic trend. This departure from floral designs breathed new life into the fashion industry and gave us a glimpse of what the future holds.
