Returning to Milan Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2023, Alessandro Michele lit up the Italian fashion capital with a stunning collection of 68 designs titled “Gucci Twinsburg”. From the name of the BST, the current Creative Director wants to honor the State of Ohio (USA) – where Twins Day brings together thousands of twins every year.

It is not simply that Alessandro Michele chose the idea of twins for this Spring Summer 2023 collection, but this seems to have become a part of the male fashion house’s beautiful childhood memories. Raised in the protective arms of two mothers – her biological mother and her twin sisters, the Gucci Creative Director finds the invisible bond extremely strong between them.
It is the same spirit that gave birth to the monumental double love collection that fans had the opportunity to admire at Milan Fashion Week. From long dresses that touch the ground to asymmetrical coats and blouses, Gucci has created a deliberate balance, where every detail compensates for each other in a thoughtful, perfect way to create the whole.
