I live here in San Antonio, and I went to the CDC town hall It’s the general feel I keep getting between social media and even a Judged weighed in (“don’t treat them here at our hospitals”) Happy bulldog face anti-dust cotton face mask People in the audience were heckling about it and it pissed me off. Between that and the spin CNN put on the situation, that sure made it feel like there are those out there who are not happy about having quarantined folks here in the community. They were pretty detailed on how they plan to do due diligence with keeping the million or so people here safe. Personally I’m not terribly worried about it. But some people are and I have to remind them these are still people, and it’s about medical. I wish there was more that non-medical people could do to feel like they could help. Some people get it and some people are letting their fears carry themselves away.
Thank goodness Boston is not like this the mayor even today took the time out to go down to Rc Chinatown to show his support of businesses and the people who live there and he encouraged all the residents to do the same I love my city and I know we’re going to get through this people need to be patient they cannot use this as an excuse to hate I’m getting very fed up with the level of ignorance that has been shown Being narrowminded and racist doesn’t make your opinion correct maybe this is the final reckoning maybe this is Darwinism who the hell knows but some of these attitudes and opinions on here we are discussing worse than the virus itself you know ZERO about Boston Which is an internationally and renowned city much better than New York New York is only known for the size of its rats and the amount of trash in the streets
