His work this time is Winnetka ‘s photo series of model Brook. The set of photos was taken at Winnetka, in Cook County, Illinois, north of downtown Chicago, USA. This is one of the wealthiest regions in America.

Emil Sinanagic obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree in Photography from Columbia College in 2002. He has contributed to Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam for years. Winnetka is his new creative work featuring model Brooke. Winnetka is a village in Cook County, Illinois, north of downtown Chicago. This is one of the richest areas in the United States.

Every spring, the song Spring Butterfly resounds jubilantly in every family. The song’s melody comes from a Chinese song called China Cha Cha Cha that was born decades ago. The Chinese often use this tune to learn cha cha cha dance. Many overseas Vietnamese singers have performed this song. But in Vietnam, the funny mix of musician Nguyen Dinh Vu and singer Ho Quang Hieu, produced in 2014, is still the most listened to.
In 2021, Ho Quang Hieu’s song Spring Butterfly became a hit on China’s Douyin platform. Many young Chinese have made vibrant dance videos on the background of this Vietnamese song.

BROADWAY BEAUTY: THE CONTRAST OF STAGE AND REALITY
Broadway is an avenue located in the center of Manhattan, New York. This street is known to the public as the center of the American theater industry. When it comes to Broadway, everyone thinks of the golden age. Broadway owns the largest number of historic stages and theaters in the United States with up to 41 theaters located on this very street. Broadway is considered the most prestigious stage. This place gathers the quintessence and talents of the arts. At the same time, this street is recognized as one of the traditional cultural symbols of New York.
For the audience, Broadway always brings the feeling of grandeur, splendor, overwhelmed with images of space, architecture, sound, light, etc. Through each musical, the audience seems to be lost in a world. another world, immersed from the first moment to the last. It’s frivolous, but Broadway is often known for its gritty stories and more reflective of social evils than splendor. It was the contrast of this place that inspired the Asian-American photographer to make this series.
Broadway Glam is a story about a Broadway image, a glitz on the dusty street. In this fairy space, the girl can wear the most beautiful and glamorous dresses without having to worry about anything, like dry cleaning bills or bad friends who are only present when we beautifully dressed. Here, photographer JK Wong and model Nayana Vishva hope to send a message that our lives are always colorful. Sometimes we just have to be “gorgeous” and forget about the troubles of reality.
