On November 8, powerful stars in the fashion world gathered in New York for the annual awards of the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). This awards ceremony is often compared to the “Oscars for the fashion industry”, to honor the best and brightest talents. The 2022 event marks the transition of the presidency between designer Tom Ford – who has resigned since May 2022 – and new president Thom Browne.
